Privacy
What PlaneSnipe keeps about you.
Very little, and none of it is sold or shared.
The website
The site is static pages. It uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google's cookie and IP handling apply; you can block it with any content blocker and the site works the same.
The Telegram bot
When you start @PlaneSnipeBot, PlaneSnipe stores your Telegram chat id, your Telegram username and first name as Telegram supplies them, and the watches you set up. That is what is needed to send you alerts. It does not have your phone number or email address and does not ask for them.
Send /stop to the bot and you are removed from every send. Your watches are kept for a short while in case you come back, then deleted. Message the bot if you want everything removed immediately.
Sellers
PlaneSnipe records the public listing text, price, state and link of aircraft ads. It does not store sellers' names, phone numbers or email addresses, and does not contact sellers.
