Why Barnstormers
The deals are private, and the history gets deleted.
Dealers live on Controller. The retired dentist selling his 182 after thirty years lists it on Barnstormers with three photos and a phone number. When he cuts the price, the old number is gone. When it sells, the ad is gone. Nobody can tell you how long it sat or what it asked last month. We can, because we wrote it down every morning.
How it works

We read every listing
Piston singles and twins, fetched politely once a day. Make, model, year, price, state and the link. No photos, no seller contact details.
We keep what they delete
First-seen date, every price change, the day it vanishes. Marketplaces overwrite this. We don't. That is the whole product.
Telegram buzzes
Pick a model and a budget. When a match lists or cuts price, the alert tells you how long it has sat and where the ask sits against the model median.

Days on market
"Listed 214 days, two cuts, 8% under the median."
That sentence does not exist anywhere else in general aviation. Pilots use the Wayback Machine to guess how long a plane has been for sale. We just tell you, on every listing, along with how the ask compares to every other example of the type on the market today.
Where it lands
An alert that already did the homework.
Every alert carries the listing's history: days listed, how many cuts, and where the ask sits against the type. The link goes straight to the seller. We don't sit in the middle and we never touch the seller's contact details.

Are these sale prices?
No. They are asking prices, and a delisting means the ad came down, not that it sold at ask. What we can tell you is the last asking price before it came down and how many cuts it took to get there. Nobody has real transaction prices for private GA sales, whatever their brochure says.
Which sites do you track?
Barnstormers, every morning, since Jul 19, 2026. We add a source only when its terms allow it. Controller and Trade-A-Plane are not tracked.
Why is the history so short?
Because that is when we started. The history grows a day at a time and cannot be backfilled, which is exactly why it is worth something.
