Classified sites show what is for sale today and forget everything else. PlaneSnipe keeps the part they discard: when an aircraft appeared, what it asked, how the price moved, and how long it really sat.
Aircraft do not sell quickly. 36 per cent are still for sale 30 days after they appear, and the curve has barely begun to bend.
That flatness is the finding. It also means the number worth knowing, the point at which half the market has sold, is still months out of reach. So the reading continues.

One pass a day, several seconds between requests, an honest user agent, nothing fetched that is not needed. Listing pages are linked and never mirrored. Photographs stay on the source site. Seller descriptions are not stored at all.
Sources are read only where their terms permit it. Where the terms are unclear we ask first, and where the answer is no we leave the source alone. That has already cost us two of them.
